How can I remove old content from Google?
How can I remove old content from Google?
Solution
Google regularly indexs any sites it finds. If you delete a page from your site it will continue to be listed in Google search results until it is next indexed.
Google has a cache feature where they actually store a copy of your pages that can be viewed, even if they've been deleted from your site. This can sometimes be a problem if that data is incorrect or sensitive in some way.
You can request specific URLs be removed from the Google index by going here...

You'll need to sign up for a free account and you will need to enter each page that is to be removed.
