 Embedding RSS Feeds to a Website

     An RSS Feed will allow you to display up to date news feeds relevant to a particular topic on your website, it is important that the information is relevant to your customers when using this feature.

     In order to add an RSS Feed to your WebContent or WebCommerce website, follow the simple steps below:

  1. Login to your WebContent or WebCommerce website management area.
  2. Click 'Add a Page' under the 'Content' section.



  3. Scroll through the 'Select a Template' options and select the 'RSS Feed' template.
  4. Use the 6 page wizard to assist you with your RSS Feed creation, firstly select the page location for the RSS Feed from the 'Page Type' area and click 'Next' to proceed.
    Step 1: Insert information for 'Button Text'
    Step 2: Insert information for 'Page Title'
    Step 3: Insert information for ''Page Heading' and click 'Next' to proceed.



    Step 4: Select 'Page Restrictions' from the drop down menu
    Step 5: Insert the 'RSS URL' to be used - this should be supplied from the website that provides the RSS Feed.  Click 'Next' to proceed.
    Step 6: Add ‘Page Text’ using the editing panel. This content will appear above your RSS Feed on the webpage.  Once you have filled in this text, you can choose to 'Preview' the webpage, once you are satisfied with the page click 'Save'.



  5. Once you have clicked 'Save' your RSS webpage will be available to view. Preview your page to ensure the RSS feed displays correctly.



  6.  Ensure your page is published and now viewable to your users!
