Solution

To retrieve you email you will need an email client such as Microsoft Outlook, Eudora, or Netscape. There are a large number available and which program you use is entirely a personal preference.

Incoming Mail Server: mail.<your domain name> ie. mail.acme.com
Account name/Username: Your email address ie. user@email.com
Outbound Mail Server: Your outgoing Mail Server will be provided by your Internet Service Provider's (ISP) Outbound Mail server.

Use the following table to work out your SMTP Server using your ISP

Bigpond - Dialup / ISDN / Satellite - Residential/Business:mail.bigpond.com

HotKey Internet:mail.hotkey.net.au
Hunterlink:mail.hunterlink.net.au
ihugsmtp.gaw.ihug.com.au (Gawler, SA) or smtp.ihug.com.au

iprimussmtp.iprimus.com.au
Optusnet:mail.optusnet.com.au
Ozemail:smtp.ozemail.com.au
Pacific Internet:smtp.pacific.net.au
